“It is not easy to pull off the intricate music and harmonies of the band Chicago. Chi-Town Transit Authority seemed to do it with ease. Certainly the most authentic and talented Chicago Tribute band in the Country. I will not only be booking them again here at Cresswind at Lake Lanier, but several other properties where I book entertainment . The residents here absolutely LOVED them! And so did I.” ~ Cresswind Properties, Gainesville, GA
And that’s how you do a tribute band.” ~ Paul Orton
“You chaps were quality players who delivered authentically...I didn’t let you see the tears at the end of the 1st set “Saturday in the Park” you killed it! ...we will do it again and SELL OUT again!” ~ Vista Room, Decatur, GA
“Chi-Town Authority was great! Listening to them play some of the classic Chicago tunes was like going back to my high school and college days. It’s amazing how a song can bring back incredible memories. Chi-Town Authority nails it!” ~ Unknown audience member, Greenwood PAC

MICHAEL CAHEN

Guitar and Vocals

Growing up in a musical family (his dad played jazz saxophone) in Richmond, VA, Michael was destined to earn a living as a musician, singer/songwriter and guitarist. His first success was recording a song with his own band that was selected for an album compiled by a local rock station. That launched a decade of touring in Europe and the Southeast. After settling in Georgia, Michael joined a local band, playing private and corporate events. He’s a full time musician with a soulful voice and rocks Gibson and Fender guitars.
